The RIVALS Creator Tournament (RCT) was the biggest competitive event RIVALS has seen so far — 32 creators across 16 two-player teams, a $100,000 prize pool, and a skin so rare only two players in the entire game own it. Here's what happened.

How the draft worked
16 captains each picked one teammate from a pool of creators in a live draft, with the draft order randomized and priority given to less-experienced RIVALS players — a deliberate handicap system so the tournament wasn't just a stack of the same top-ranked names. Captains had until August 22 to lock in their pick. Every bracket match except the loser's bracket was streamed live simultaneously by philhood and elixir.

The Trophy Knife
Stefan and ASD each walked away with the Trophy Knife — a one-of-two skin for the Knife, making it the rarest obtainable skin in RIVALS behind only the developer-exclusive Armature.001. It can't be earned any other way, so these two copies are likely to stay unique for good.
Charity impact
Alongside the competition, the hosts ran a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with a $10,000 goal. The RIVALS community blew past it, raising roughly $26,000 — nearly triple the target.
What's next
RCT was community-organized, not an official Nosniy Games event — so there's no confirmed date for a sequel yet. We'll update this page (and add new ones) as future RIVALS creator tournaments and community events get announced.
